So, your story begins in Ordinary City, where Hero lives and has friends.  Then something happens to impel Hero to travel to Special City, where he will find  strangers and adventures.  Good plan.  What’s the best way to move Hero from his home to his adventure?

Or maybe your character needs to get from his office in Metropolis to his grandmother’s house in Idyllic Meadows.  Does he take a taxi, subway, or limo?  When does it matter?
