Final three!

If, working your way through the course; you've had a triumph; have moved forward from where you were when you started; had one of those wonderful, jaw-dropping "I GET it now" moments; finished a project, sold a project, or any other success story, please share it here. We'll cheer you on.

I didn't win, but my manuscript made it to the final three for the Robin Hardy Scholarship at the Writers Retreat Workshop in Owensboro, KY -- which takes place over a whole ten days, in June. They offered me a five hundred dollar discount -- and under the circumstances, although I could not, in good conscience, have sprung for the cost of this workshop without such encouraging feedback, I have decided to make this investment in myself and my life's dream

Hurray!

Thank you, Holly. You made this possible!

Deb

Excellent! That's quite a good prize.

I'd never thought about the civilian experience at Gettysburg, so you must've hit a fresh angle there. :)TX

Thank you all. I have a lot of work to do between now and then, but this has been quite a morale boost.

I am -- as Holly always encourages us to do -- writing with joy!

Thank you all, but most of Holly, because you taught me how to coordinate the two halves of my brain! And so much more!

I will be driving to Kentucky and back -- from New Jersey -- so it's turning into quite an adventure. I have not done anything like this, just for myself, in years.

I will report back when it's all over . . .
