Step 3: Download your worksheets.

1. Create a free student account (or use the special login if you have an old account).

If you are a student or graduate of the stand-alone classroom versions of How to Think Sideways, How to Revise Your Novel, How to Write a Series, or the Professional Plot Outline Mini-Course and you have never logged into the new classroom software before, USE THIS LINK instead of creating a new account.

2. Use the menu for the Short Courses worksheets you want.

Make sure you’re on either your General Membership Home page, or if you’ve upgraded to Short Courses Premium, that you’re on your Short Courses Premium Home Page. (HTTS Premium Members will use the General Membership Home page for Short Course downloads.) You’ll be able to tell by the appearance of the link on the left side of your menu.

3.For HTTS Lesson worksheet downloads, use the link provided in the back of your lesson.

If you’re working from a PDF lesson or an eReader app on your computer, simply click the link.

If you’re working on something that doesn’t permit downloads and/or printing of downloads from its interface (Kindle, Nook, some other e-readers) you need to use a computer and your web browser.

Log into your account as above, then typed the link from INSIDE the classroom. If you remember to use your bookmarks, you’ll only have to do this ONCE per lesson, no matter how many times you decide to download a particular worksheet.

4. BOOKMARK your download page.

Once you’ve reached your worksheet (or course extras) download page, bookmarking is simple.

  • Find the Bookmark widget at the top of your page.
  • If you scroll up, you’ll notice the same widget on THIS page, too. If you’re a member and logged in, you can bookmark this (or any) page with a widget.

The bookmark widget is in the top RIGHT corner of the content area.
